O, the weather outside is frightful...
Wait. No it's not. It's clear and 70 degrees.
Yes, boys and girls, Christmas in Florida. We have 90 year old women driving 15 mph in the fast lane, but we don't shovel snow. I call it a fair trade.
So, what's new with me?
I am considering working for a new service. (In addition to, not in place of Rio's or any of the others)
There once was a time, not so very long ago, where a girl could pull in 10k a month (and very often more) by being a dedicated phone slut. The definition of "dedicated" however, often included being signed in 24/7 to six different services at once. For the gal with the stamina and drive, I'm sure the numbers for that devotion are still rather pretty. I'm just not willing to cosign my life to that level of slut sacrifice. I want to do my job and do it well, and I certainly want to enjoy it -- but I don't want to BE my job.
It's a delicate pinhead to dance upon.
So I've decided to hone my focus (as opposed to whoring my focus) and work for more intimate, smarter services who are more interested in the quality of their staff, as opposed to the quantity.
Recently, while researching for a new section of the site, I stumbled upon this amazing woman who, among other things, runs her own unique type of service:
Dr Susan Block Institute For the Erotic Arts and Sciences
This service and the philosophy behind it meshes with my own and I'm more than mulling it over. I'll decide after the first of the year…which is far too close for my liking.
Speaking of the season, I've had this holiday CD in my CD player for over a week now. It's to the point where it irritates me and I simply can't listen anymore and yet I don't change it. I may need counseling.
Something I found odd though, was that "My Favorite Things" from The Sound of Music was on it. I've never considered that to be a Christmas song. Funky. Although I guess there are more than a few elements of it that lend to the season.
But, you know, I couldn't resist the temptation, so here are a few of my favorite things:
The Art of Jack Henslee
The Wit of Oscar Wilde
The Music of M. Doughty
The Patriotic Stylings of Michael Moore
The Miami Dolphins
I'm such a baby, yeah, the Dolphins make me cry…
The Miami Hurricanes
Snob Butterfly Panties
Motzart Candies
Obsession Perfume
Tra-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la and all that other jazz -
