Debbie
I decided to make the last three in the gallery my personal favorites. Beginning with Debbie. Debbie is just so wonderfully impish. I believe there is a part of every woman and every girl that just loves to play the tease. Sure, there are dangers to being a tease and we don't play that role as comfortably or as often as we'd like. But when you get the opportunity, I think it is the culmination of all things feminine and girlish and sublime - a fusion of equal parts empowerment and vulnerability. I love Debbie. |

Julie
This is another piece where he's erased the highlights in the clothing to give it what I call "the A-Ha Take On Me" look. When you visit his site, you'll see he does that in the hair of some of his girls as well. The contrast of it adds a depth and playfulness to each piece - at least for me.
Julie is one of the most luscious blossoms in Boris' garden. The unsure cast of her eyes, the cavalier lushness of her mouth. That little beauty mark just above her left nipple and the winking sparkle of her navel. I think this is what Shakespeare meant by : "Beauty too rich for use, for earth too dear..."
